Šibenik is an old and historical town in central Dalmatia when the Adriatic Sea meets river Krka. It is a centre and seaport of the Šibenik-Knin county and also the one most recognizable tourist resorts of the Croatia. Unlike all other cities along the Adriatic coast which were established by Romans, Illyrians and Greeks, Šibenik was founded by Croats. Šibenik has a typical Mediterranean climate. Hot and dry summers when July average temperature is around 30°C and humid but mild winters. Everything you want to see in the city you can get by walking. The St. James's cathedral built in 16th century which is on UNESCO World Heritage list, Weels - a water reservoirs complex built in 15th century witch main purpose was city's water supply and today they are dry and open for public as museum.
