Rabac is a small Istrian tourist resort near city of Labin. Because of its beautiful bay and tame surroundings it soon became a well-known excursion destination from only a tiny fishermens village of ten houses. One of the most famous summer mansions, and the most beautiful part of the village is the villa belonging to merchant family Prohaska, which origins from Czech Republic. People from Rabac were sailors, owners of a few sailboats, and fishermens. Now mostly Germans, Austrians, Englishmens and Talians come to Rabac to spend their holidays.
